Welcome to my blog. I’m a healthcare analyst with 26 years of experience with a Master’s degree and a Registered Nurse license. I’ve worked in critical care, diabetes and care management. I’m also a mom to an incredible (don’t all moms say that?) son who is finishing his undergrad at the University of South Florida, a wife for 30 years (Imagine him putting up with me that long) and a general sports nut. I lost my woman card years ago as I would rather be in a bar watching the game than getting a mani-pedi sipping Starbucks. I’m a WYSIWYG kind of person.. I’m known not to mince words and I will tell it like it is. Sometimes people take me the wrong way – remember I have a few ounces of sarcasm mixed in with my 100% caring too much attitude.
I’m going to tackle many subject matters here. Sports, healthcare updates, hospitals, elder care, life in general, being a mom, craziness in our world among many more. Sit back, buckle up and get ready to laugh, cry, get mad.. but most importantly, read and think. Really think about the words and thoughts.
Remember, everything here unless referenced to another source are my thoughts and my thoughts alone. I have nothing to disclose.
Peace, Love and Don’t stop believin’.
